This year was the first Halloween we really celebrated with Lana. As you can tell, she was a dog! And poor Lewis was literally squeezed into one of Lana's shirts! He seemed proud of his physique!Friday night we went to Hill-oween at the Eastern Market area and then Saturday we Trick-or-Treated in our condo building! See more pics on Facebook!

Family time!

Last month, Lana got to meet some extended family! Sarah's Aunt Lisa and Uncle John came down with their daughter, Emma Joy. Emma is 17 months old, and it was so cute to see them together. It was also good to see how mobile Lana will be in just a few months!

We somehow forgot to get December's (must have something to do with the thousands of pics we took for Christmas) and I don't have this month's. But otherwise, we have been good at taking one each month!

Baby's First Christmas

We were blessed that Lana's first Christmas was celebrated with the whole family, including Sarah's parents from Kenya, Nate from Ohio, and Jonathon's parents and sister in New Jersey. The days were long as Lana debuted as baby Jesus at St. Johns United Methodist Church for both the 8 and 11 p.m. services on Christmas Eve. Grandma Price played Mary. The rest of the time was spent opening Lana's presents (the clear winner in that category this year) and then playing with said presents. An obligatory stop at Friendly's and a diner -- both Jersey icons -- were also included. With family aplenty, we even snuck away for a real date to see Marley and Me (the book is much better). It has been a great year and we're looking forward to 2009 to see her walking, talking, and generally being awesome!
